Dontella Versace's daughter Allegra admitted for ana addiction.

Not like this intervention isn’t a few years overdue or anything. Sheesh!

What was the delay in getting this poor (we use the term loosley) girl some help anyway? With all the experience that Donatella has in the fashion industry in dealing with starving models, one would think that she would be a bit more in tune with her own child.

Sure she has had to focus on her own crug and alcohol addictions and her plastic surgery needs but come on now. Every published picture of them two together looks like Jack Spratt and his wife and you can easily figure out which is which. Anyhoo, after sucessfully emaciating herself down to 70 pounds Allegra is now in Ana rehab where she will hopefully get the help that Nicole Richie didn’t.

Dontella released the following statement:

"Our daughter, Allegra has been battling anorexia, a very serious disease for many years. She is receiving the best medical care possible to help overcome this illness and is responding well...As parents, we are doing our best to protect our daughter. However, due to numerous media reports, we want to let everyone know that we appreciate their concern for Allegra, and we ask that her privacy be respected at this time."

We look forward to the reports of Allegra leaving rehab to go shopping and clubbing just like everybody else.
